So the Super Bowl is Sunday in Detroit, and the snow will be back just in time!! Should be interesting...it does look like there are some fun things to do downtown. I really want to do some outdoor ice skating...it's been way too long. As for watching the biggest event in the universe, apparently, I may leave it on for background noise or something...or rent a movie. I do hope Seattle wins, though...those water-logged people need a ray of sunshine.
Changing the subject, I'm kinda bummed about news regarding 2 of my favorite tv shows. First, with the WB and UPN merging in the Fall to become the CW (what the hell?!?), it looks like Everwood is going to get the axe after only 4 seasons. It still has a chance but a slim one. It's one of the few shows out there that has been consistently excellent all across the board (writing, acting, etc.). Also, ABC has no room in its schedule to fit Alias when it's supposed to return in March...kinda weird, considering it's already known that this is its final season for sure. Maybe the final episodes will be released in the summer??? Who knows...stupid network politics!!
The Winter Olympics begin in a week!!!! WOOHOO!!
