I didn't watch the NBA Finals after the Pistons lost to the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. However, I always, always root against the Lakers, and I was so delighted that not only did they lose the Finals, they lost in Game 6 by 39 points (131-92)!! It sounds like the Celtics won by the biggest margin in NBA history in a championship-winning game. And at one point, the Celtics were up by 42 points (just minutes before the end). While I wish the Pistons could've been the ones to knock Kobe Bryant and his backups off their pedestal (a la 2004), I'll take what we got. Woohoo!!
Over in tennis land, Wimbledon is just a couple weeks away!! Cheerio!

Is this what you've been downloading on iTunes? Naughty, naughty...I stumbled across an article on Time.com about the growing audience in Japan for "elder porn". There may be hope for Joan Rivers and Barbara Walters yet. And Ed MacMahon...he needs some extra money, it sounds like, so maybe he should fly out to Japan and audition... Yeah, I'm still trying to keep an open mind about this one...but hey, I guess it's a new spin on "respect your elders".

Ryan (Benjamin McKenzie), M...whatever, and Luke (Chris Carmack)If you recognize the three above, you watched The O.C.! Don't try to deny it... I'll even confess that I just started renting this series, after hearing so much hype while it was on. That, and I've had a crush on Chris Carmack (who plays Luke - on the right in the picture above) for years; he has these dreamy eyes and chiseled face, sexy voice...sigh...I should stop now before I am shot by an NRA member.
Anyway, I am halfway through the first season and find it to be a very worthy "guilty pleasure". Also, I have to note that Benjamin McKenzie (Ryan) is sexy as hell too. Personally, I think Marissa should get lost, and Ryan and Luke should make a love connection. But that's just me.
Since it's so damn hot here in San Diego, I think it's appropriate to close out this post with 2 more pictures of the hotties from The O.C. Enjoy...

I think Marissa does eventually get lost. Can't say for sure because I don't watch the show. I just have a strong drive not to do work at work and MSNBC (our only approved website) has celebrity gossip that tells me this starlet wants to further her career or get a DUI or whatever.
Also, I will continue to read your sports related content, but I can bring nothing to the table unless you decide to start writing about hockey or football (and even then, don't expect much).
