Mr. Wells goes to Atlanta:
Tomorrow night, I will be headed back to the Mothership aka Atlanta, GA. I just love them good ol' red-eye flights (said like a true Southerner)! 10:30 pm PST departure time, 5:30 am EST arrival time. But as any Georgian will tell you, time is of no concern at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport...so, who knows when I might get into town?
I will be in town from early Thursday morning until late Monday night. To say that my trip is jam-packed is an under-statement. During that brief span of time, I will be attending a funeral, entertaining many of my mom's relatives at my parents' house, taking a family road trip to Florida (16 hours round-trip), attending a wedding/reception with many of my dad's relatives, hanging with old friends, and maybe sleeping and eating too! Whew!! It's the American way to not relax while on vacation, after all! You can bet I will have many pictures and tales to share... For those of my friends who I won't get to see, I will definitely see you at Christmas!
Politics:
So, Obama now has enough delegates to pretty much call this thing a done deal. While he's not the candidate I would like to have as the Democratic nominee, it could be worse. Even though Hillary hasn't conceded yet, I am sure she will soon. It will be interesting to see if she is invited to be Obama's VP; he may have little choice. But at the same time, Hillary might not want to stay up all night waiting for a phone call. Especially if George W Bush starts drunk-dialing her to poke fun at her. "Hey Hills, guess what?? I was in the white man's house as preseedent for um...one, two, three, four, five....(long pause)....six, seven, EIGHT YEARS...and you ZERO...tee hee hee!! oh, and is your referidgeratiator running?" *click*
Meanwhile, Obama and his friends might be overheard singing "Ding dong, the bitch is dead" into the wee hours of the morning. Sigh...

Haha... have fun on your vacation. My friends are I are in the process of finding a vacation spot and not putting ourselves more in debt (we're all broke college students as it is!).

Obama will lose the election if Hilary is not his running mate. I'll call that now. Haha, if George Bush would call me drunk, I'd probably have a few things to say to him.
I will try not to be offended that I have been deemed 'not worthy' of a visit from you.
Who are we kidding? I will totally feel offended but I will try to console myself with the fact that my new house will look even more awesome at Christmas. Once you see it all Christmasy, you will feel sad that you didn't come see it earlier when you had the chance.
